Fishing

Captain Eric Nicotri and his customers are fishing out of Venice LA in what is considered to be one of the best fisheries in the world. The Mississippi river delta is located in Plaquemines Parish just south of New Orleans, LA. The vast wetlands that were created by the nutrient rich Mississippi River combined with the oil and gas platforms that are sprinkled through out the coastal and offshore waters are what make up this amazing place that Capt. Eric Nicotri calls home.

Inshore Fishing

A typical day inshore starts out between 5:30 and 6:00 am. Step aboard the 24 Foot Champion Bay Champ. This boat will get you to the fish fast, dry, and comfortably. Your choice of Trophy Trout, School Trout, Redfish, Bull Reds, and Flounder await you in the
Fishing Capitol of the World Venice, LA. Fishing techniques change with seasons. The majority of the year we use Old Bayside soft plastic jigs with and without popping corks, top water baits, Spinner baits, and spoons. Live bait is used exclusively in July and august for trout, but is available year round. Captain Eric Nicotri uses Okuma Spinning and bait caster reels on Challenger Rods. You are welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel, but you do not have to.

25 Speckled Trout Per Person 12” minimum
5 Redfish Per Person 16” minimum –w- 1 over 27”
10 Flounder Per Person 10” minimum

Offshore Fishing

Several offshore boats are available. Whether your target it is Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Red Snapper, Grouper, or Amberjack. We have everything you need to for a great trip.

4 Grouper Per Person 22” Minimum
1 Amberjack Per Person 28” Minimum
